PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) — Police say several rifles and shotguns were stolen from a Petersburg gun shop.

Petersburg police received an alarm call from the Dunbar Gun Company in the 200 block of north South Street around 11 a.m. Sunday.

When offers arrived, they discovered a window appeared to have been tampered with and that several rifles and shotguns, believed to be antiques, had vanished.

Petersburg Police’s Esther Hyatt said a K-9 team tried to track potential suspects with no luck.
