Woman’s body found in West End grass

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Detectives are working to determine what killed a woman found lying in the grass in Henrico’s West End. The adult woman’s body was reported to police about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

“Initial indications are that there are no signs of trauma,” Henrico Police Lt. C.J. Maurice wrote in an email. “Henrico Police Detectives are currently on the scene beginning the investigative process to determine the identity of the individual, and work with the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the manner and cause of death.”

The body was discovered near Glenside Drive and Bethlehem Road.

      This station is really bad at updating stories. Bodies often found and then no updates on identities or cause of death. Amber alerts and no updates if the kids are found, etc.

    None of the stations are giving an update on this!!! I’ll give you an example of how to update it if it was from natural causes……. The body of a woman found on Glenside Drive on Saturday has been ruled as a natural death. Her identity has been discovered and her family has been notified!! OR The police still have NO idea who the woman found dead at a Henrico County gas station is as of yet!! OR The police just don’t have anything new to report at this time on the body of a woman found at a Henrico County gas station!!

    It’s cute how we have to hear about the balloon crash over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over again!!! If you decide to get into a bucket & fly in the air… You risk DEATH!!!
