Police ID 31-year-old man pulled from Kanawha Canal

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The man whose body was pulled from the Kanawha Canal Wednesday was identified by Richmond Police as 31-year-old Walee A. Hagg. Hagg had no permanent address, according to police.

"Hagg was last seen by his family when he visited them in Midlothian late last week," police said in a statement. "The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. At this point, investigators have found no evidence of foul play."

Anyone with information about Hagg's death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
