GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Charges are moving forward against two siblings once charged in connection with the murder of a Virginia police captain.

A grand jury indicted 20-year-old Mersaides Shelton and 18-year-old Daniel Mathis on malicious wounding and firearms charges. Mathis was also indicted on a robbery charge.

It appears all the charges are connected to a shooting and robbery at a Super Bowl party the day after Waynesboro police captain Kevin Quick disappeared in February.

The pair had been charged in connection with his stolen SUV, but prosecutors set those charges aside in March.

Quick's body was discovered  in Goochland several days after he was reported missing.

Five other people are still charged in connection with Quick's disappearance and death.
