A South Carolina pregnant woman says she was kicked out of a “judgement free zone” at a  Planet Fitness all because her stomach was showing.

Melissa Mantor is 18 weeks pregnant and tells WCIV she was working out when an employee told her she was violating the dress code. Mantor was wearing a tank top with spaghetti straps, a shirt she says she’s worn many times before without incident.

But because part of her belly was showing she was asked to put on a Men’s large t-shirt.

According to the Planet Fitness dress code, they do not allow jeans, string tank tops, or sandals. It’s all to promote a “non-intimidating atmosphere.” A statement to the Huffington Post says the particular location Mantor went to has a policy against mid-drifts. They are working to fix the misunderstanding between corporate and the store.

Melissa Mantor says she canceled her membership with the gym, but Planet Fitness says they’ve offered her a free t-shirt to complete her workout.

That is so wrong of Planet Fitness. I don’t care for that place eithet because when my husbands year was just about up and he didn’t want to renew it they gave him a hard time. They told him he couldn’t cancel until his year was up. Let me tell you he got inyo it with the person that was working that day. He or she said that’s there policy. He said I’ll give you your policy. I can’t use your place because of medical issues and they didn’t care. I will never go there and I try to tell people about them. They took money from use every month and my husband couldn’t even go.You looked great nothing wrong on what you have on. They really need to change things or they will lose a lot more people.

look lady your pregnant and thats great but what makes you think others wanna look at your big belly sticking out of your shirt. No diff. then if a fat guy was working out with his flab hanging out the bottom of his shirt.Clearly your wanting attention because not only did you seek it at planet fitness you then contacted the media to whine about it.

“You’re” is always a contraction of “you are.” If you’ve written “you’re,” try substituting “you are.” If it doesn’t work, the word you want is “your.” Your writing will improve if you’re careful about this.

Rules are rules… You can’t choose which ones you think are important enough to follow. Why is this news? Are there not more important issues in the world today?

Ah, you news outlets and your sensationalist titles.

So let me get this straight. Long story short, this woman was asked to leave NOT because she was pregnant, but only because she was in violation of the gym’s dress code and refused to comply?

Nope, folks, no news here. Just someone trying to ride the “gyms hate pregnant women” train and doing it wrong.

Sounds good to me, with the dire overpopulation crisis on this planet she shouldn’t have bred a baby on purpose in the first place, ADOPT one you selfish witch!
