The most shocking part happens at the end of the video, about 1:10 in is when the action starts.

Citizen videographer Nick arra-Reyes recorded the 26th Street landslide in Charles Village as the road collapsed, sending cars onto a CSX railroad track.

As heavy rains swept the Atlantic cities, many states experienced severe flooding.

The mayor addressed the public Wednesday.

“What I do know is that we’ve had to deal with sinkholes, large sinkholes before and we have a great team of people that are going to put all the resources necessary to deal with this as efficiently as possible and focus on safety, and that is why the first thing we are doing is testing the structural integrity of the road that is left — and the homes — because we want to make sure whatever we do keeping individuals that are working on this problem safe,” said Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

At least 10 cars went down the steep banks. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are still trying to figure out the cause.

There was also a massive landslide in Yonkers late Wednesday.  A retention wall partially collapsed and caused a 40-foot landslide.

The landslide partially covered a section of commuter train tracks with concrete, rock and dirt.

No was was hurt, although train commuters could expect delays.
