HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Three guys with guns approached a woman outside her Hanover home, forced her back inside the house and stole valuables, according to Hanover County Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Chris Whitley.

“The victim reported that she was approached by three black males wearing masks outside of her residence who displayed handguns,” Whitley said. “They forced the victim back into the residence, stole valuables, and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.”

No one was seriously injured during the robbery, he said. The crime was reported about noon on Tuesday along the 8300 block of Whippoorwill Road. Nearby schools were ordered to “shelter in place” while deputies investigated the crime.

“Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000,” Whitley said.

Three black males that will wish they had never heard of Hanover County after they are caught. And that will not take long.

    No one was seriously injured.
Does that qualify, under new age justice as “Non-Violent Offenders”?
Or, will it be Fast Serve Catch/Release/Repeat/Recycle?

The worse the economy the more desperate and bold the thugs and entitled people get. You can only blame two groups for the dire situation our country and constitution are in. Only two groups, just two and yet 93% of Virginia voters still fund, promote, support, and vote for these two groups. Both are corrupt with career self serving greedy politicians. Vote Robert Sarvis and James Carr in November. There are just as many white thugs and entitled people as there is black, brown, red or purple.

Agree, Virginia’s prisons used to be self sufficient by raising and farming their own food. They made license plates for the state. They should work the heck out of them and when they get out McDonald’s job will be a cake walk. The Constitution allows for indentured servitude for debts to society that have gone through the legal system. You don’t have to be cruel but you can’t give them a better life on the inside than they have on the outside.

My elderly mother lives in that area. Sheriffs never alerted her to this situation. Yet schools were on lockdown. How about alerting the neighbors that there are three masked gunman running down your road!?? Alerting them that they are in possible danger and to stay inside with doors locked. She didn’t find out about this until today.
