RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): The International Female Ride Day, is Saturday, May 3, the Worlds only synchronized Women’s Motorcycle “Just Ride” Day, promoting unity among women of all cultures. Saturday’s line up is at 2:15 at the Roses Department Store (formerly The Showplace) destination Williamsburg. You can register through event brite, under international female ride day. And many of these female riders will start their day off by riding in the Sickle Cell Unity Ride. This ride raises awareness of the disease and thousands of Virginians who suffer from sickle-cell. The line up is at 9am in the parking lot of the Petersburg Health department, and at 11am riders will hit the road for the parking lot of Second Baptist Church. Get ready for the East Coast Triathlon Festival, May 3 & 4. Expo Saturday, May 3rd, 9am – 5pm & Race Day Sunday May 4th, races start at 7am, 4600 Cox Road, Glen Allen  in Innsbrook. This festival features more than 750 Youth Tri-Athletes from Richmond and across the country in swimming, biking and running. Radio One Richmond’s 7th Annual “Send a Kid To Camp”Radiothon hosted by “Miss Community” Clovia Lawrence, is Thursday, May 1st, call 804-521-8400 between 10am and 7pm, make a donation of $25 or more and request your favorite song on the radio. Each $250 donated provides a nine-week summer camp experience for a Richmond area child. It includes transportation, breakfast and lunch from June 23 – August 23, The camps feature biking, arts & crafts, curriculum, aquatics, Lego and sports. 12th Annual Que Pasa? Festival, sponsored by the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Saturday, May 3rd from 11am – 7pm on Richmond’s Historic Canal Walk in Shockoe Bottom. The festival brings together the rhythms, culture and cuisines of Latin America and Spain. Performers include The Latin Ballet of Virginia,  Ban Caribe and many others, in addition five local craft breweries are featured this year.
