(WTVR) – Perhaps by now you’ve seen video of 7’5″ Tacko Fall dunking on and swatting the shots of other high school players – some a foot or more shorter than he.

If not, here it is.

Fall is likely the tallest player in high school basketball.

“Everywhere I go, people want to take pictures, talk to me, shake my hand, but I’m getting used to it now,” the Tavares (Fla.) Liberty Christian Prep junior told the Orlando Sentinel last year.

While Fall plays high school basketball in Florida, he’s also lived in Texas, Ohio and Tennessee. He is originally from Dakar, Senegal.

He is still learning how to play the game and therefore has not been highly recruited. In fact, he is not listed among the top center prospects on ESPN’s high school basketball rankings.

If Fall can play Havoc defense and is recruited to VCU, he would be the tallest Ram in the history of the program.

The title currently belongs to 7’2″ Konstantin Pepeliaev. Pepeliaev was a Ram from 1990-93, according to VCU Assistant AD for Athletic Communications Scott Day.
