100-year-old headstones vandalized at historic Richmond cemetery

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police are looking for information on who vandalized headstones at a historic Richmond cemetery.

“Sometime between 2 p.m. on March 27 and 11 a.m. on April 3, an unknown person(s) knocked over and destroyed six headstones at the Hebrew Cemetery at 400 Hospital St.,” Richmond Police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said. “Some of the headstones were more than 100 years old.”
