UPDATE: Woman broke into cars during Chesterfield basketball games

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Police released photos of a woman wanted for breaking into and stealing credit cards from vehicles parked outside Clover Hill Elementary School in Chesterfield County.

"Families and neighbors were inside at a basketball game" while the woman broke into the cars, police said about the March 1 crime.

"Throughout the next few days, fraudulent purchases were made with the cards at many area stores," police said. "

The suspect is described as a black female between the ages of 25 and 35. She was seen leaving the area in a silver SUV/minivan type vehicle."

Police said that she has racked up about $13,000 in credit card bills.

"Some people out there may not have gotten their statements yet, so if you attended that basketball game, find out if they're illegal transactions on your card and if you do have them, please call."
