HOLLYWOOD (WTVR/CNN)–It was obvious by all the social media buzz that singer Pharrell Williams’ big hat was a hit.

So he turned his Grammy’s fashion moment into a charitable cause.

The singer put his oversized Vivienne Westwood on eBay to raise funds for “From One Hand to Another,” his own nonprofit organization.

The hat he had on during his Oscar performance on Sunday night was similar.

The winning bid of $44,100 goes to fast food chain, Arby’s.

During the Grammy’s Arby’s tweeted, “Can we have our hat back?” because of its similarity to the logo.

The singer tweeted his thanks Sunday night.

Documents list the organization’s address in Chesapeake, Virginia. The organization’s mission is to develop learning programs for underserved youth between the ages of seven and 20, in at risk communities throughout the country.
