HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A body discovered at Watkins Landing boat ramp in Powhatan County was identified as Jaime Cruz-Avila, according to Henrico Police. The 24-year-old Henrico man was last seen Wednesday, Feb. 5. His burned vehicle was discovered at the boating ramp the very next day.
Earlier Henrico Police responded to Cruz-Avila’s home along the 2500 block of Dickens Glen Court for a suspicious situation.
“Officers found evidence at the scene indicating the male may be in danger,” Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email.
