Looks like the killer (or killers) took precautionary measures to conceal the crime. (burning the vehicle to conceal evidence.) Probably some type of spontaneous homicide. (friend or family member.) He was likely injured in the home, then finished off in his vehicle. Then the offender(s) burned it in an attempt to conceal dna/blood evidence.
