Richmond snow update: above average for season!

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Snow lovers, you can rejoice! We are above average for snowfall this season.

Because of the winter storm Wednesday and Thursday producing 5.8″ officially at Richmond International Airport (3.7″ on Wednesday, 2.1″ on Thursday), this season’s snowfall tally is up to 10.9″. This is above average for our average snowfall in our entire season! The average for Richmond is based on the 1980-2010 seasonal snowfall.
