Dominion crews working to restore power in Highland Springs.

HIGHLAND SPRINGS, Va. (WTVR) – About 3,000 Dominion Virginia Power customers are without power Wednesday morning in the Highland Springs area of eastern Henrico.

A fallen power line on Nine Mile Rd. caused the outage, Dominion spokeswoman Le-Ha Anderson confirmed to CBS 6 reporter Jake Burns.

Crews are on scene working to restore power to the area. Dominion estimated power would be restored by 7 a.m.

The cause of the downed line remains under investigation.
