Several events cancelled, re-scheduled because of snow

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – After Thursday’s winter storm and more winter weather expected today, some events in and around Richmond have been cancelled and re-scheduled. Here’s a list:

An Evening with Gladys Knight in Concert, scheduled for Friday, February 14, wow re-scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 8pm at The Landmark Theater. For updates visit www.landmarktheater.net.

Richmond Ballet “Cinderella” Thursday, February 13th,  performance, re-schedule to Sunday, February 16th at 6pm. All tickets issued for Thursday’s performance will be honored at Sunday’s 6pm performance. All other performances will remain as schedule at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond Centre Stage. Chesterfield County Public Library, postponing Thursday, February 13 concert with the Virginia State University Gospel Chorale at Central Library. A make-up date will be announced later. Chesterfield County Events for Black History Month: Cancelled: VSU Gospel Chorale Concert, Thursday, February 13, 7pm at Central Library; Morning Coffee Break: Voices of Abolition February 18 at various branches: for more information on these and other events at library.chesterfield.gov.

Cancelled: The City of Petersburg first Black History Month Event: Union Train Station, 104 River Street, Thursday, February 13, 7pm, VSU Sankofa Dance Group, VSU Concert Choir & the Petersburg City Public Schools; for more information call  804-479-0637.

Cancelled “Standing Ovation Tour” scheduled for March 1 at the Landmark Theater, get a refund to original place of purchase.
