HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - She may seem nice enough, with her pink scrubs and eye glasses, but if the woman whose picture Henrico Police released Tuesday approaches you at the ATM, just say no.

The woman walked up to several people at Henrico ATM's in December with a story.

"The suspect told victims she needed to cash a check but she did not have her debit card with her. Several victims deposited the suspect's check into their own account and then withdrew the same amount in cash to give to the suspect," Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email. "Checks provided by the suspect were all from closed accounts."

The suspect in the photo is described as a black woman in her mid-20’s, 5’6”, 135-145 pounds, according to police. She was last seen driving a dark color Dodge Charger.

In the photo the woman is wearing medical scrubs.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.

The suspect and the victims are dumb as hell! She left her debit card…REALLY! No need for a mugshot, she look real nice in her scrubs, bushy ponytail, and geek glasses. Henrico will have her by time I finish my comment!

Oh my god she is not dumb the dumb ppl are those who cashed her fake checks are some idiot people really because who would cash a strangers check and then take money from your account and give it to her NOT ME!!! if you don’t know a person never do something like this obviously doesn’t matter how nice the person looks doesn’t matter if she/he has a professional uniform who cares I wouldn’t risk anything now days smh.

All I can think is that maybe the victims were elderly people who don’t understand that just because you deposit a check and the bank out of courtesy makes the money available, doesn’t mean it can’t bounce later. You shouldn’t withdraw money from a check that the bank hasn’t cleared.

a couple of guys asked me to cash their check because they had no ID and would give me 20$.I smelled a rat and said no.The next dummy at another table thought it was the best deal in the world and left with them.I never did get the chance to ask how jail was.
