Person shot in buttocks at Louisa County Super Bowl party

MINERAL, Va. (WTVR) -- The Louisa Sheriff's Office said two people were assaulted and one was shot Sunday evening, when suspects showed up at a Super Bowl party and pulled out guns and demanded money.

Officials said a fight broke out in a Mineral home when the victims refused to give the suspects money. That's when a man and woman were physically assaulted.

Additionally, Louisa officials said that during, or shortly after the fight, a third victim was shot in the buttocks.

Police said that the female victim was taken to University Virginia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
