CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The man arrested for stabbing his wife inside their Chesterfield home pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Murder. Tony Williams, 45, will be sentenced in May.

Williams stabbed his wife Mia inside their Brandy Oaks Road home in Nov. 2012. After the deadly stabbing, Williams drove off before police arrived.

Officers pursued Williams along Route 288 and then Interstate 95.

Williams eventually crashed his car, jumped out and ran across I-95 where another car hit him.

Williams was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The search warrants for Mia and Tony Williams’ Brandy Oaks home reveal gruesome details of the violence.

Affidavits show Mia Williams’ daughter found her mom on the kitchen floor with a knife still stuck in her chest. Evidence recovered from the home included a broken knife, and hair in the kitchen and garage.

“It just looks like things got pretty crazy inside that house,” CBS 6 legal expert Todd Stone said following the arrest.  “It’s a traumatic thing [the daughter discovering the body]. A judge would definitely consider impact statements once this thing goes to trial.”

He drove away to let his kid deal with what he had done to the mother,
his wife, while he ran away like a child? Stand Up man, father,
    husband, citizen.

Oh, they will likely blame it on mental health issues, as that seems to be the current trend No one seems to be held accountable for their actions any more, it seems everyone wants to blame the Government instead. Not enough mental health beds, not enough mental health outpatient care, etc., etc., etc.

It is traditional and customary for Government to hand out the “talking
point” Excuses and Click Word Triggers. Enables the Government Scams of “I’ll do you, if you do me”.
That way the Governments and their faithful will never actually be held accountable to responsibilities and life style choices. Benefits them both.

I can’t believe your comments. You act like mental illness doesn’t exist like it is something made up. Mental illness in this country is a terrible problem and there are not nearly enough funds dedicated to it. I am not by any means saying this man was mentally ill. He knew exactly what he was doing but you on the other hand need to stop acting like mental illness is something that does not need attention in this country.
