CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The man arrested for stabbing his wife inside their Chesterfield home pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Murder. Tony Williams, 45, will be sentenced in May.
Williams stabbed his wife Mia inside their Brandy Oaks Road home in Nov. 2012. After the deadly stabbing, Williams drove off before police arrived.
Officers pursued Williams along Route 288 and then Interstate 95.
Williams eventually crashed his car, jumped out and ran across I-95 where another car hit him.
Williams was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The search warrants for Mia and Tony Williams’ Brandy Oaks home reveal gruesome details of the violence.
Affidavits show Mia Williams’ daughter found her mom on the kitchen floor with a knife still stuck in her chest. Evidence recovered from the home included a broken knife, and hair in the kitchen and garage.
“It just looks like things got pretty crazy inside that house,” CBS 6 legal expert Todd Stone said following the arrest. “It’s a traumatic thing [the daughter discovering the body]. A judge would definitely consider impact statements once this thing goes to trial.”
