RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Winds will be blustery at times Saturday from the south at 15 to 25 mph. In Richmond, highs could touch 70 degrees Saturday afternoon, which is close to record levels for January 11.

After several rounds of rain Saturday morning (yes, it will likely be wet for the Inauguration at the State Capitol), there will be a couple of rounds of gusty showers and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon ahead of the approaching surface cold front linked to the storm system.
There is the slight risk for damaging wind gusts out of the storms ahead of the cold front Saturday afternoon through evening for the southeast half of Virginia (including Richmond).
The threat will shift east of I-95 by 8 p.m. and completely exit Virginia by 11 p.m. Saturday.
