RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A Richmond man was arrested and charged in connection to a deadly Christmas shooting in Fulton Bottom.

Antwone V. Mealey, 23, of the 1500 block of North 20th Street, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to Richmond Police.

Mealey turned himself in at police headquarters. Additional charges are pending, police said.

Just after noon Christmas Day, someone shot and killed Adam Jamal El, 25, near the intersection of Old Nicholson and Fulton Streets. Investigators believe Jamal El and the shooter were arguing prior to the shooting.

Isn’t this the same guy that “accidentally” shot his toddler son a while back? Sad excuse for a human being.

  • Glen Allen

This guy is so young, such a shame that someone can be ignorant in today’s society, to consider murder. I don’t know this guy, but I would bet he lacks education.

    • Manalishi

There is a difference between education and indoctrination. This punk is very well indoctrinated and now he can begin his undergrad studies at stereotype university.

You’re kidding right? If I didn’t think you were kidding, I would say first, lack of education is not an excuse for being a convicted felon, second, not an excuse for carrying a gun while a convicted felon, and third, murdering someone. Thank God this person (I won’t use the word Man, because he isn’t one) is off the streets for now, and hopefully for a long time.

Governments not doing well on Catch/Release/Repeat.
Governments not doing well on Controlling Guns of Convicted Felons.
