Tony Romo hurt; out for season

DALLAS (WTVR) – Less than an hour after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo is out of the rest of the season with a back injury, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett refuted that report.

“Jason Garrett says they have not made a determination on Romo’s status for Sunday’s game,” the Cowboys tweeted during the head coach’s Monday afternoon press conference.

Romo, whose back was sore going into Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, said it really began to hurt after he was hit during Sunday’s win.
