RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Police were called to the scene of a deadly double stabbing on Richmond's Northside Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4:10 p.m. in the 4300 block of Chamberlayne Ave., between Westbrook and Westminster, in the Ginter Park neighborhood.

Richmond police said officers discovered two black females that were stabbed near any apartment complex when they arrived.

Both victims were rushed to VCU Medical Center where one of the women later died. The other woman remains in critical condition.

Witnesses told CBS 6 News senior reporter Wayne Covil that she saw a bleeding woman run out of a rental office, screaming that she had been robbed before she fell to the ground. Bystanders rushed to help the woman. A witness said one victim had stab wounds in neck and face.

Police said that the incident started in a nearby apartment complex, but they do not know yet if it was a robbery -- or exactly what prompted the stabbing.

This is Richmond's 35th homicide for 2013.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804- 780-1000.

Way to go Richmond nothing like a double stabbing to emulate the love and sacrifice of Christ to a hurting world. Merry Christmas, Pray for a change of heart in this city.

“…Witnesses told CBS 6 News…that she saw a bleeding woman run out of a rental office, screaming that she had been robbed…”

“…Police said that they do not know yet if it was a robbery…”

Perhaps the witness’ statement will help the Richmond Bureau figure it out!

What is to be done about In-Network doctors who send lab tests to Out-of-Network labs?
No current healthcare reforms address this issue.
Hold your 4 fingers up and tuck your thumb into your hand (the thumb represents govt) if you believe govt is too involved in our lives (spending too much money) and not providing the representative benefits.
