Short Pump mall stores open Thursday for Black Friday

1398875_10151877784402851_400701939_oAlthough Short Pump Town Center said they aren’t officially open on Thanksgiving Day, numerous shops at the mall are open Thursday.

Official Black Friday Hours are listed as 8 a.m. through 10 p.m..

Texas de Brazil will be open as an alternative for Thanksgiving, serving a meal for $42.99 that includes normal dinner menu and traditional holiday items like roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Opening at 6 p.m. Thursday are Teavana and Starbucks. Caffeination is crucial.

Opening at 8 p.m. Thursday is Macy’s, Aeropostale, Journeys, Pacific Sunwear, American Eagle Outfitters, Buckle, Hollister, Dick’s, LOFT, Abercrombie and Fitch, Banana Republic, Things Remembered, New York & Co.

At 10 p.m. Gap and Baby Gap opens.

Then on Friday, starting at midnight, Collector’s Heaven, Delia’s, Bath & Body Works, Brookstone, Eddie Bauer, Urban Outfitter’s, Justice, Victoria’s Secret, Sunglass Hut, Baker’s Crust, Go! Calendar Go Games! and Express Men.

Opening by 6 a.m. is Saxon Shoes, Virginia Diner Shoppe, White House/Black Market, ToyZam, Crazy 8, Aldo, and Cache.

Opening by 7 a.m. is Nordstrom, The Children’s Place, Ann Taylor, and Francesca’s Collections.

By 8 a.m. all other stores will be open, except for Athleta, Jared Jewelry, and Panda Express which open at 9 a.m.

    By all means, let’s celebrate the Christmas holiday by standing in line for deals on more junk made in China we most likely don’t even need. Maybe we should just change the name of the holiday to Mammonmas or Capitalmas — since we sure as heck aren’t celebrating Christmas anymore. But we sure are a Christian nation, aren’t we?
