Armbed robbers hold up man near VCU’s main campus

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Police are looking for two men they say robbed a man near VCU's main campus early Sunday morning.

Officials said the robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Hancock Street.

According to Richmond police, the victim was approached by two black males with handguns. The suspects took the victim's wallet and cell phone and then ran into the alley headed toward Belvidere.

The victim was not injured.

According to VCU police, the first suspect is described as a black male with dreads and gold teeth. He looked to be in his 20s, between 150 and 170 pounds and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with black and white beanie hat underneath.

The second suspect is also described as a black male with gold teeth. He also looked to be in his 20s, between 150 and 170 pounds, around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, with black square framed glasses.
