WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WTKR) –  A former Busch Gardens employee was arrested last week, accused of giving away more than 100 parking passes while he worked at the amusement park.

Darryl Malik Glenn, 20, was charged with felony embezzlement, according to James City County police.

Glenn worked in one of the booths at the front entrance of Busch Gardens where people pay to park, police said. Between Sept. 8 – 14 he is accused of giving away more than 125 preferred parking tags, which allow closer parking.

He didn’t seem to know or have a connection to the people he gave free passes to, police told WTKR.com. A Busch Gardens spokesman said they could not comment on personnel issues.

The passes would normally cost $10 or $25 depending on if the person had a season pass to the park. In all, Glenn is accused of giving between $1,200 – $3,100 worth of the passes.
