VCU picked to win A-10 basketball title

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WTVR) – The VCU Rams men’s basketball team was picked to finish first in the upcoming Atlantic 10 season by a panel league coaches and media. The poll results were announced Tuesday at the conference’s media day.

The Rams, who were runners-up last season, received 19 first-place votes. The University of Richmond Spiders finished sixth in pre-season voting.

Atlantic 10 Conference Preseason Poll

VCU’s Treveon Graham and Juvonte Reddic were named to the 2013-14 Preseason All-Conference First Team. Richmond’s Cedrick Lindsay was chosen for the All-Conference Third Team. Briante Weber made the Preseason All-Defensive Team.
