Now that the initial furor over “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” casting has died down, the movie is adding to its ranks.

Jennifer Ehle, who you last saw in “Zero Dark Thirty,” has been tapped to join “Fifty Shades” as the mother of Anastasia Steele, according to Deadline.

The role of Anastasia, the naive college student who finds herself in a steamy relationship with a good-looking billionaire by the name of Christian Grey, has controversially already been handed to Dakota Johnson. Anastasia’s mother, Carla, is described as flighty, flirtatious and on her fourth marriage.

Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, “Fifty Shades of Grey” will also star “Sons of Anarchy” actor Charlie Hunnam as the charismatic Grey. The movie’s set to debut on August 1, 2014.
