WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WTVR) - Police arrested two more people for the murder of a high school football player in northern Virginia. That brings the total to eight people who have been charged.

Kenny Joseph Diaz was found stabbed in a park in Woodbridge Saturday afternoon. The 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Investigators said Diaz was stabbed by 19-year-old Diandra Samuels, after he and a group of his friends went to her home to confront her about a recent armed robbery involving one of Diaz’s friends.

Police said Samuels and her friends beat Diaz badly, took him to the park and then Samuels killed him.

Tuesday, 26-year-old Dominic Smith was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and abduction. Twenty-nine-year old Deneen Antoinette Williams, 22-year-old Renee Claytor Caples, 24-year-old Teena Marie Gerbozy and 22-year-old Gregory Allan Bonds were charged with abduction, according to police.

Wednesday, police said 19-year-old Ariel Juanita Adams and 32-year-old Gibreal Guled were also charged with abduction. They were found by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force on Tuesday.

All the suspects are being held without bond, say police.

Diaz was a student at Woodbridge senior high school and was a member of the varsity football team.
