RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Richmond police are looking for the man who robbed a pizza delivery driver with a shotgun.

Police told CBS 6 News that the gunman approached the driver as he was delivering food in the 400 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard around midnight Monday.

The man got away with money and pizzas.

Neighbors said they are shocked by the crime happened in their normally quiet community.

“It’s probably an isolated incident where someone called in this address and then waited for the guy to get here,” said Bobby McIntosh, who manages property near robbery scene. But generally, we’ve had deliveries here before and we’ve never had this problem.”

Neighbors said there are some delivery companies that will not deliver to their neighborhood at certain times of night because of a safety concern.
