CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Chesterfield detectives are following another lead in the high profile case of missing Altria executive Leyla Namiranian, who disappeared in April 2012. [COMPLETE COVERAGE: Leyla Namiranian]

Recently Namiranian's belongings were sold at an estate sale. When a buyer purchased items, he noticed a man’s jacket with a stain on it and called police. Police detectives sent it to the state crime lab for experts to analyze the stain.

A conservator is now in charge of selling Namiranian’s possessions and her home on Normandstone Drive. We asked a local realtor if the seller has to disclose information about Namiranian's disappearance.

He said the seller signs a statement making no representations about the circumstances or the condition of the home.

Chesterfield Police have Namiranian listed as missing and not dead. She was last seen leaving work on April 4. [Complete Coverage of Leyla's case here]

Police identified two persons of interest in the case. One, is a man who told police he was dating Namiranian at the time of her disappearance. CBS 6 has chosen not to reveal his name, but has learned he was convicted in 1990 of brutally stabbing a woman and assaulting her daughter.

Chesterfield investigators also interviewed an Altria executive who was one of the last people to see Namiranian before her disappearance.

They welcome any information the public may have about the Namiranian’s disappearance. Call Crime Solvers at 748-0660 if you can help.
