HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Students at Fairfield Middle School now have a few more options at the school library. The Henrico school received a surprise book donation of 191 new books from a group called LaSertoma.
LaSertoma is a non-partisan, non-political, non-profit and non-sectarian organization focused on youth and community needs,”the group said on its website. The group said it made the surprise donation “for no reason other than to provide for students in need.”
“Random acts of kindness are always welcomed and appreciated,” Fairfield Principal Art Raymond said.
“We were so delighted to be the lucky recipients of these books,” Fairfield librarian Ms. Harner said. “Our Falcons love to read, and they love new books.”
