Richmond firefighter faces breaking and entering, vandalism charges

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A Richmond firefighter was charged for crimes police said were committed on Sept. 11.

Police records allege Ashley Berry broke into a home in the 100200 block of Battenburg place during the afternoon that day. While she was there, records indicate she also vandalized property.

Berry, who was charged with breaking and entering and vandalism, is a firefighter assigned to Station 14 on the Northside.

The department said it is not allowed to comment on the case.
