CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WTVR) – A 61-year-old former employee of the Library of Congress has pleaded guilty to stalking and identification fraud in Charlottesville.

Kenneth Kuban admitted to pretending to be his ex-girlfriend on Craigslist to lure people to her home for sex.

Before Kuban was indicted, more than 100 men had turned up at the woman's home responding to the ads.

The postings were traced to the government-issued computer where he worked.

“While his actions caused the victim months of emotional trauma, they could have resulted in much more serious harm,” U.S. Attorney Timothy Heaphy said in a statement.

Kuban faces up to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced in November.
