LOVINGSTON, Va. (WTVR) – A Virginia mother whose daughter disappeared more than a week ago delivered an emotional plea for help.
“If anyone knows anything, please, please let us know,” Laura Anne Murphy said during a Monday morning briefing about her missing daughter Alexis. “Today would have been her first day of school. I carried my youngest son to school this morning, but I didn’t have my daughter to take.”
The Nelson County Commonwealth’s Attorney and FBI announced while the search for 17-year-old Alexis Murphycontinued, an arrest had been made in the case.
Randy Allen Taylor, age 48, of Lovingston, Virginia is charged with abduction according to the FBI.
