RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Mabuhay! Celebrate the rich culture of the Philippines right here in the River City at the 8th annual Filipino Festival. It kicks off  Friday evening from 5pm-10pm and Saturday 10am to 10pm at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8200 Woodman Road, Henrico.

You’ll find Filipino cuisine like Lumpia, pancit, adobo, lechon and many other dishes as well as a cultural program, dance, music, artwork, a children’s area, live entertainment featuring the Latin Ballet of Virginia and a dog show.

CBS 6’s Anchor Stephanie Rochon and Lite-98’s Bill Bevins will host the entertainment and activities. There will also be health screenings, vendors and a dog show. For more information about the Filipino Festival visit
