RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Does your child or grandchild have what it takes to become a mentor? The Chesterfield Teen Ambassador Program is looking for high school students to become mentors to elementary-aged children. Teen Ambassador Dejohn Taylor and Lee Archard, Prevention Consultant for Chesterfield Mental Health shared more about the program. Applications for the fall semester must be received by Friday, August 2nd. Those who are selected will mentor children after school on Tuesdays from October 1st through December 9th at Bellwood, Chalkey or Ettrick elementary schools.
