RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A construction fraud charge against Central Virginia contractor David Isom was dropped Wednesday in Richmond court. The prosecutor said the charge was dropped because Isom, who owned the now defunct Old Richmond Exteriors LLC, paid back the person who accused him of fraud.

Earlier this year Virginia Attorney GeneralKen Cuccinelli filed a lawsuit against Isom. The lawsuit, filed in Chesterfield County, sought full restitution for other customers who said they paid Isom to do work that he never completed. [Click here to see past stories on David Isom]

Outside of court Wednesday, CBS 6 reporter Shelby Brown attempted to question Isom about his plan to repay other customers.
