Plane overshoots runway during emergency landing in Louisa County

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police are currently in the preliminary stages of an investigation into a plane crash in Louisa County.

State police responded to the Lake Anna Airport around 8 a.m. Tuesday, after a plane was attempting to make an emergency landing due to mechanical issues and overshot the runway.

There were two occupants on the plane and there are no injuries reported.

The investigation remains on-going.
