(CNN) — At the 3rd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Monday night, voters couldn’t decide if AMC’s “Breaking Bad” or HBO’s “Game of Thrones” was the best drama of the past year – so both shows were awarded with the honor.

It wasn’t the only tie handed out at the awards dinner, as “The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco shared her best supporting actress in a comedy win with “The Middle’s” Eden Sher. The best reality series category also held two winners: A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” and “Push Girls” on Sundance.

When it came time to name the year’s best comedy, however, “The Big Bang Theory” was crowned the champion, giving the top-rated series three wins overall. The CBS comedy’s Simon Helberg also won an award for best supporting actor in a comedy, while the best actor in a comedy title was nabbed by Louis C.K. of “Louie.”

The Critics’ Choice Television Awards recognize outstanding TV that aired between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013. If it’s set to premiere after June 1, then it’s eligible for the most exciting new show category, which this year hosted FX’s “The Bridge”; ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”; Showtime’s “Masters of Sex”; NBC’s “The Michael J. Fox Show”; Showtime’s “Ray Donovan”; and CBS’ “Under the Dome.”
