RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond police need your help finding a man wanted in connection to a weekend shooting in Richmond’s Fan District. Police said Harry Bryce Franklin, 24, has a last-known address along the 3200 block of Edgewood Avenue.

Police said Franklin and Marcell A. Patron Jr., 31, were involved in a shooting early Sunday morning at the intersection of South Addison and West Cary streets. Patron Jr. is charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Police found a third man after he crashed his car on Lakeview Avenue. Police said that driver was actually the shooting victim and shot Patron Jr. in self defense. None of the injuries were considered life threatening.

Police said the shooting was “a result of an argument between a group of individuals.”

A man who lived near the crime scene said he heard a heated argument outside a bar on Main Street just before the shooting.

“I saw the guy with the gun and the next thing I knew I was in the house. It all happened in a blur,” neighbor Ben Kyber said.

Police asked anyone with any information about Franklin’s whereabouts or this shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
