ROANOKE, Va. (WTVR) --There's been another bear sighting in a bustling Virginia city.

A small cub wandered into a Roanoke neighborhood on Monday afternoon. It could be seen scurrying across yards and even went into a garage.

It took animal control officers several hours to track down the bear and tranquilize it. It was taken to a more rural area and released.

Virginia's Department of Game and Inland Fisheries says bear sightings will become more common as the weather warms up and the animals wander out in search of food.
