RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Rocketts Landing is the place to be for the Memorial Day Weekend, a free event called “Rocketts Red Glare” featuring fireworks, live music and family-friendly activities on Sunday, May 26 starting at 5:30 with live music on the volleyball court next to the Boathouse. The Kings of Swing will take the stage at 6:30 and fireworks will follow the show around 9pm.
There will be a Kids Themed area, with moon bounce and other fun kids activities, RVA Street Foodies food and carts trucks and beer and wine. Rocketts Red Glare is free with fees for kids rides and beverages that will benefit Connor’s Heroes, a non-profit whose mission is to provide support to children with cancer and their families.
