PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) -- Police have charged a Petersburg school bus driver with failure to yield the right of way after a bus crashed into a car Thursday.
School leaders said the bus was transporting 12 AP Hill students at the time of the crash. Officials said the bus driver was trying to make a turn from North Boulevard onto Johnson Road when the crash happened.
No students were hurt, but they were taken to Southside Regional medical Center to be checked out.
