Varina teen charged with abduction of student

VARINA, Va. (WTVR)--An 18-year-old is charged with abducting a teenage girl at gunpoint from a local high school.

Henrico Police told CBS 6 that it happened yesterday morning at Varina High. They said Austin Martin tried to talk to the victim and when she refused he pulled out a gun, got her into his car and took her to a home on Kambis Drive where she escaped.

Martin faces several charges, including abduction and bringing a gun on school property.
