Clusters of strong thunderstorms moved through parts of Virginia on Saturday. A few storms went severe with large hail and damaging winds.
One batch of storms moved from near the Prince Edward/Lunenburg county border through Nottoway county and into Dinwiddie county.

5:08 pm to 5:17 pm Green Bay (Prince Edward county) — trees down from strong winds, shed damaged, one inch hail
5:31 pm Martins Corner (Nottoway county) — trees down across E Court House Rd
5:36 pm Sneads Spring (Nottoway county) — 1.25″ hail & possible funnel cloud
6:35 pm Confederate Woods (Dinwiddie county) — Tree down on VA 740
7:39 pm Buena Vista (Rockbridge county) — trees & power lines down between Lexington & Buena Vista
9:00 pm Buckingham (Buckingham county) — trees down
