DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — A motorcyclist is dead after a two vehicle crash on Boydton Plank Road at Ford Avenue.
Virginia State Police say that shortly after 6 p.m. on May 10, state police responded to a scene where the driver of 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a 2005 Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
The driver of the Hyundai and two passengers were not injured in the crash.However, the motorcycle rider suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to Southside Regional Medical Center where he later died.
The identity of the deceased is pending next of kin notification.
