RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Friday Cheers begins at 6 p.m. on Brown’s Island, expect heavier than normal traffic in the area of 5th St. & 7th St. near Tredegar. There will be free parking on site as Arts in the Park takes over Byrd Park Saturday and Sunday, however, you may want to consider using a free shuttle to City Stadium to avoid congestion in and out of the area. Two construction zones may cause delays; one along the Powhite Parkway Bridge on the southbound side, and another along the Huguenot Bridge. To avoid delays across the Huguenot, use the Willey Bridge. Add fifteen minutes to your commute.
